If you're looking to replenish your iOS app collection before the summer holidays, this could be the right moment. Apple just launched a promotion offering 100 apps and games at reduced prices.

The sale, surfaced by 9to5Mac, includes apps for photography lovers, kids' apps, several tools and utilities, and a pretty long list of games.

Some of the better known apps on the list include Pixelmator, Facetune, Retromatic and GoodReader. As far as games go, you'll find Angry Birds, Badland, Limbo, Fruit Ninja, Rayman Jungle Run and, of course, Goat Simulator, among other titles.

All of the games and apps on offer cost $0.99 -- if you're in the U.S. If you're elsewhere, the prices will vary -- for example, in the UK, the prices are £0.79 per app/game, while in Croatia I see prices of $1.24.

Despite the price difference in various markets, the savings are substantial. Normally, Pixelmator and GoodReader would set you back $5 while Rayman Jungle Run and Shadowmatic cost $3, for example.

Apple did not say how long the promotion would last. Check out the full list of apps and games on offer here.
