Apple's Next Event: iPads, MacBooks and Some Surprises?

On Oct. 22, Apple will host its second major product announcement of the fall. While the first officially launched the iOS 7 era as well as the new generation of iPhones, we expect Tuesday's event to bring us an update to the iPad as well as some surprises.

We've read the leaves of the invitation, which promises "a lot to cover." And while an update to the iPad seems like a lock (particularly a retina iPad Mini), there could be other things in store: Apple TV? The long-rumored "iWatch"? We'll find out Tuesday.

As we look ahead to what promises to be another exciting day for Apple fans, we've hosted a MashTalk Google Hangout to discuss what we're expecting from this event. Mashable Editor-in-Chief Lance Ulanoff, Tech Editor Pete Pachal, and Senior Tech Analyst Christina Warren present their thoughts and predictions and answer reader questions.
