Apple Limiting iPhone 5C Production Due to Slow Sales, Report Says

The same Chinese source that revealed photos of the iPhone 5S box several days before Apple’s official announcement now claims that the Cupertino, Calif. company has cut down production of its iPhone 5C due to sluggish sales.

Citing inside sources, Chinese website Ctechcn reported that Apple has limited production of the 5C from 300,000 per day to 150,000 per day.

If true, this would fall in line with a report on Monday that said the iPhone 5S is outselling the iPhone 5C by more than two to one.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
