Recent expansion by Apple continued this week with an agreement to lease a seven-building campus in Sunnyvale, California, not far from where the company is building its new "spaceship" headquarters.

[seealso slug=http://sale-online.click/2013/10/11/apple-spaceship-campus-model/%5D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe new campus, known as Sunnyvale Crossing, has around 290,000 square feet of office space and can handle around 1,450 workers. It was recently renovated by local real estate firm Lane Partners, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Apple did not release any information about what kind of personnel might be housed at the buildings.

Apple gained final approval in November for its 2.8 million square foot headquarters that will be built in Cupertino, California. The "spaceship campus" is not expected to be ready until mid-2016.
