Users have downloaded more than 1 million free and paid apps from Apple's freshly launched Mac App Store, the company has announced.
“We’re amazed at the incredible response the Mac App Store is getting,” said Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Considering the store only carries a little more than 1,000 apps, and that it has been live for just one day, 1 million downloads is definitely nothing to be ashamed of, although Apple did not say how many of those downloads were paid, and how many were free apps.
