An iTunes mishap hints at a possible upcoming movie rental service that may become a part of the iTunes store.
An error for the options regarding the requesting of a refund shows an option for non-delivery of rental movies. That's not the only indication that Apple iTunes movie rentals are on the way. There are also options for reporting issues for your rental movies including accidental purchase, poor quality, duplicate purchase, wrong version, bad metadata, and "other." These are the same reporting options that you'll get for all other iTunes products.
Apple has already announced plans for an online movie rental service, and has begun discussions with several movie studios. The service was thought to possibly be released this fall, which would be right about now.
