As the world of iTunes TV shoppers learned all too well, the well-established relationship between Apple and NBC came to a bitter halt last year in a feud over pricing. Forward to today, and both parties have come to a new agreement in conjunction with the launch of iTunes 8. Apple has agreed to distribute high-definition shows from NBC through iTunes for a price of $2.99 each, according to the AP. Other providers will presumably follow. Standard definition material will be supplied at the rate of $1.99, with “older shows... available for 99 cents apiece.”
