Apple is featuring a tribute to Robin Williams on its website on Wednesday. The cherished actor and comedian was found dead in his home on Monday.
"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. He inspired us through his passion, his generosity, and the gift of laughter. He will be greatly missed," says the message on Apple's website, along with a photo of Williams.
Apple ran similar tributes on its front page several times in the company's history; recent examples include one in December 2013, to Nelson Mandela, and in October 2011 after Steve Jobs had died.
