Apple is battling over an alleged copyright infringer again. This time it's a somewhat unlikely suspect -- a Polish grocery chain.
The tech giant is accusing A.pl of copying its logo and brand icons to confuse customers, according to a Reuters report. The Polish patent office told Reuters that Apple had filed a complaint on Tuesday. However, A.pl CEO Radoslaw Celinski told Reuters that Apple's claim is "ludicrous." A date for the hearing has not yet been set.
The accusation comes after Apple won a court battle with Samsung over alleged patent infringement of Apple's iPhone and iPad designs. A California jury awarded Apple $1 billion in damages. Samsung has said it will appeal the ruling and is planning to sue Apple if the iPhone 5 includes LTE technology.
Meanwhile, here's A.pl's website. What do you think? Does it copy Apple too closely?
