Apple has repeatedly offered public support for the rights of its gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees, and last month, the company doubled down on those sentiments by marching in San Francisco's Pride march.

At the time, Apple CEO Tim Cook tweeted about the march, but now the company has uploaded video footage of its preparation for and participation in the event on its official YouTube channel.

Congrats to 5000 Apple employees/families who attended today’s Pride parade.Inclusion inspires innovation.#applepride pic.twitter.com/4DncX8F6fO— Tim Cook (@tim_cook) June 29, 2014

Simply titled "Pride," the video shows Apple employees and their families organizing rainbow flags, as well as special-edition t-shirts featuring a rainbow Apple logo, in the run-up to the June 29 march. Employees from the company's Paris, Hong Kong and Munich offices traveled to California to participate in the event, according to the video's description.

Musically accompanied by Coldplay's "A Sky Full of Stars," the video comes across more as an inspirational spot, rather than an overtly political statement.

The issue of LGBT rights in the workplace is a serious one for Cook, who penned an op-ed on the topic in The Wall Street Journal late last year.

Fittingly, for a company that prides itself on innovation, the video spot ends with a stirring quote: "Inclusion inspires innovation."
