Apple products may soon go on sale at Staples stores in the U.S., according to tweets from several Staples employees late Thursday.
Regis Mulot, SVP of global human resources for the office supply chain, tweeted that "After Canada, #Apple products are coming to #Staples in US. Great news!" That tweet, which was reported by AppleInsider and 9to5Mac, has since been deleted, but tweets from other Staples employees are still up.

Apple products are already sold at Staples stores in Canada as well as at some of Staples' competitors in the U.S. like Best Buy. Last month, 9to5Mac reported noticing Apple products show up on Staples' U.S. website on a test page, fueling rumors that they might soon go on sale in stores.
Staples and Apple did not immediately respond to our requests for comment.
