Apple Releases OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 With Improved Gmail Support

Apple has released a new version of OS X Mavericks, bringing several important updates and bug fixes.

Version 10.9.1 includes improved support for Gmail in OS X Mail (as well as fixes for users with custom Gmail settings), improved reliability of search and Smart Mailboxes in Mail and fix for an issue with contact groups in Mail.

Other fixes include VoiceOver recognizing sentences that contain emoji, iLife and iWork apps now updating properly on non-English systems and several other issues.

The new version of Mavericks also includes Safari 7.0.1, which fixes problems with Safari becoming unresponsive when filling out certain forms. VoiceOver compatibiliy with Facebook has been improved, and Credit Card autofill now works better.
