The fiercest wearable at Apple's iPhone keynote event has already achieved peak Internet fame.

Keynote Scarf is the subject of a Twitter account that pays tribute to a developer's fetching purple infinity scarf. It's the new black turtleneck. It's the new untucked shirt. It's the new everything.

In addition to its own colorful commentary, it's also retweeted some of the best responses to this curious sartorial choice.

The developer's accessory choice has even inspired its own hashtag, #scarfguy.

And as is standard practice for anything even remotely funny that happens on the Internet, brands are getting in on the joke.

We can't blame the guy-- it must be chilly in Cupertino's Flint Center. But as for other questionable clothing choices at Tuesday's Apple event, one real question remains:

The live stream is down but the most important question is how many more people will wear purple? #AppleLive— Stephanie Buck (@StephMBuck) September 9, 2014
