Apple Store Is Down, Ahead of iPhone Announcement

If you've looked at this thing called the Internet at any time in the past couple of days, you're probably aware that Apple is about to launch its next generation iPhone -- possibly the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S.

And, as always during these announcements, the online Apple Store goes down -- as it is now -- only to return with new goodies in an hour or two.

Head to our live blog to check what Apple has in store (pun intended) this time, and don't bother refreshing Apple's site too much -- the store never comes back online until after the presentation begins.

Here are a few mock-ups of what the new iPhone might look like.
