The Apple Store has been down for an extended period tonight, according to Twitter reports. While such downtime sometimes precedes a new product release or price changes, that seems somewhat unlikely here: Apple would never release a big new product on a Saturday night, one week before its big iPad release.
So, we're not banking on any major revelations when the store comes back up ... except maybe an iPhone 4G with lasers.
UPDATE: After a few hours of downtime, the store is back online.
