The famous glass cube structure at Apple's flagship store in New York City was a casualty of the snow storm that hit the Northeast on Tuesday into Wednesday.

Dozens of users posted pictures to Twitter and Instagram overnight showing a broken glass panel at the Fifth Avenue Apple Store. Mark Gurman at 9to5Mac notes that the cost of repairing the panel will likely be at least $450,000.

A representative at the Fifth Avenue location confirmed to Mashable that the broken glass panel was the result of a snow blower, though it's unclear whether that snowblower belonged to the city or a private business. The store will remain open, despite the mishap.
