Tim Cook had a pretty good year.

The Apple CEO received $9.2 million in total compensation for the 2014 fiscal year, including about 1.75 million in salary and another 6.7 million in non-equity incentive plan compensation, according to a company filing on Thursday. That's more than double the $4.25 million in compensation that Cook received in 2013.

While large by most measures, Cook's total compensation was not the highest among Apple's top executives. Eddy Cue, Apple's SVP of Internet software and services, received nearly $25 million in total compensation and Angela Ahrendts, Apple's recently hired retail chief, received $73.4 million in total compensation, both of which were mostly through stock grants.
