From the destruction and havoc of Superstorm Sandy came an idea for an app that could help people affected by the storm. A group of advertising students thought it up after being cooped up inside for several days after the storm.

The students are urging Apple to create an app which will allow users to drag and drop their unused apps into a Salvation Army donation box. Once in the donation box, Apple will give the cost of the app to The Salvation Army.

Not only would it be a way to un-clutter your digital life, it would also be a way to help those in need.
