E3 made headlines this year for its console gaming news, but a number of mobile apps created a stir after launching at the gaming conference, as well.
King brought Facebook-favorite Pet Rescue Saga to iOS and Android, Marvel's Avengers Alliance also made its way to the iPhone, and Zynga launched Solstice Arena, a new multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game to which users are bound to get addicted.
What's more, Dreamworks launched Turbo, a new racing game starring a snail from the upcoming film of the same name, while PopCap updated Simpsons Tapped Out with more characters and buildings, as well as a new waterfront to put them all in.
