Ariana Grande is clearly the everyman's pop star. Her name sounds like a Starbucks drink, she wears cat ears on stage and her voice registers on a pitch that should only be attainable by Disney characters.
So it only follows that the singer was traumatized while performing Tuesday at the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, as any of we plebeians would be.
The incident in question involved "angel" Elsa Hosk and a set of cartoonishly large pink wings that hit Grande in the face as she sang. (The wings, by the way, aren't actually sold in stores, which raises the question: What is the point of said fashion show?)
Grande survived the experience and lived to tweet about it.

And thanks to the higher-powers-that-be, Grande's face as she was being smacked around by six-foot-tall models was just priceless enough to be memed, for posterity, of course.
