WARNING: This post contains spoilers about the latest episode of Arrow
Praise the TV Gods, she's ok. Well, kinda.
Arrow is back for the second half of its season and just minutes into the first new episode of 2016, the fate of fan favorite Felicity was revealed -- only we didn't get the whole story.

Yes, she was seen in a hospital bed, looking a little pasty and still in need of some follow up surgeries but still full of her Felicity humor.
About three quarters of the way into the episode, though, we learned that the follow up procedures were done in an effort to repair some major nerve damage she had suffered as a result of the shooting that capped off the midseason finale.
The worst part came when Oliver, who had spent much of the episode trying to get revenge on Damien Darhk, learned that the surgeries were not a success. Felicity is paralyzed.
Fans didn't take the news well.
Okay but the fact Felicity thought for a moment Oliver wouldn't want her anymore if she's paralyzed,I hate everything,I wanna hug her.— anny (@forbesmoaks) January 21, 2016
Omg Felicity is paralyzed. And Oli said for better of worse. Just rip my heart out and stomp on it, will you #Arrow— Lion Of The Rock (@WardQueensArmy) January 21, 2016

Others are taking the news slightly better because, as they see it, there are ways to fix this. SCIENCE-y ways.
#ARROW We Know Felicity will not stay paralyzed....Ray Palmer has nano tech that will fix her right up better than new.— QuantumOfKevin (@QuantumOfKevin) January 21, 2016
they havent even called felicity paralyzed yet like they really arent even trying to pretend this is a permanent thing— stacey (@eddiesthawne) January 21, 2016
It looks to me like Felicity might not be paralyzed 4 months from now so I'm thinking they'll do a science fiction fix of some kind— Kate (@imgoingtocrash) January 21, 2016
Also, everyone was reassured -- as if there was any doubt -- that Oliver remained committed to their relationship in spite of this great hurdle they now face. Specifically, he said, "for better or for worse."
Emotional as this episode made fans, all of this wasn't even the peak of the loud fan reaction. That came at the end of the hour, when the show made a big reveal -- simultaneously calming nerves across this great nation...
Remember that grave at the start of the season? The one many fans feared Felicity was in? Surprise: It's not her.
In a scene forwarding to that moment four months in the future, Oliver leaves the gravesite and pops into a limo, where his fiancee is waiting for him.
Good news? Yes. Bad news? Also yes, because now the suspects list have been narrowed down.
