BROOKLYN -- The hipster gods have finally answered your prayers. Spam -- the canned ham -- has joined the foodie scene in the overpriced and unusually dirty neighborhood of Bushwick.

Instead of suffering down regular canned Spam, Woodrow Van Dern and his culinary partner Kimbee have teamed up to create Spam Bushwick, the first artisanal Spam.

Spam Bushwick has introduced two exciting new flavors at their launch: Lemongrass Coconut Oil and Sriracha Pickles. However, the team is constantly thinking up new flavors, citing inspiration as their first ingredient in every can.

It didn't take long before the Spam trend caught on, the processed food is already being served at Do or Dine in the form of Spam Fried Arancini, in the nearby neighborhood of Bed-Stuy.
