Though Collar Free will still remain in existence, the majority of the company's resources are focusing on their new endeavor, Artistic Hub, a white label version of their competition platform specifically designed for brands.

Artistic Hub is a completely customizable, embeddable competition design application that brands can license and deploy within their own site framework. Gone are the days where brands have to fork over their traffic and engagement metrics for effortless community competition management. Now they can just hire Artistic Hub to do the dirty work, but still maintain full control over their competition oriented campaigns.

Here's how it works. Brands pay $5 - 10,000 to license the platform for their campaign, Artistic Hub tweaks their competition platform for the client's needs, and the end result is a flash application that lives within the brand's site but is hosted and served by Artistic Hub.

The company has also partnered with Zazzle for on-demand printing of all design competition entries. So, for any given campaign, a brand's community can create designs that viewers can then click to buy through Zazzle. Proceeds from the purchased products are split down the middle between Artistic Hub and the brand.

To see Artistic Hub in action, just check out Sports Illustrated Kids, the company's first major partner. SIKids.com has turned to Artistic Hub to serve their audience with weekly t-shirt design competitions. Winning entries will be featured in Sports Illustrated Kids Magazine, but anyone can purchase the designs of their choosing via Zazzle.
