LONDON -- It turns out homemade hair dyeing kits and branded plastic shopping bags do not make a good combination.

Rebecca Richardson learned this lesson the hard way recently, after she used a plastic bag from British supermarket Asda to cover her head during a routine hair-bleaching session.

Here's what the Asda logo looks like.

And here's what Rebecca's hair looked like after the dyeing.

Richardson's brother Craig was kind enough to share her mishap on his Facebook page, where it's already racked up over 500 shares and 12,000 likes at the time of writing.

It turned out Richardson wasn't the only one who'd suffered a dye-related shopping bag mishap.

It wasn't just Asda bags, either.

In sharing his sister's hair dyeing mishap, it looks like Richardson might have stumbled across a nationwide supermarket conspiracy to sneakily brand the heads of thousands.

Either that, or more people follow this person's advice.
