Welcome to Lenovo, Ashton Kutcher

PC maker Lenovo tweeted a picture on Tuesday of its newest employee, and the face on the accompanying staffer ID card may surprise you.

Ashton Kutcher, who recently played Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in the film Jobs, is listed as the company's latest "product engineer."

The move is part of an effort to plug Lenovo's upcoming #Betterway global livestream, which kicks off on Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET and promises a collection of new innovative products. Lenovo previously announced that Kutcher would be on hand at the event, which will be filmed live from the YouTube Space LA in Los Angeles Space and include a musical performance by Hunter Hunted.

Kutcher has long expressed interest in the technology field; he was one of the early adopters of Twitter.
