SYDNEY -- A teenage singer from Western Australia has scored an A-list fan squad in Ashton Kutcher.
Sydnee Carter, 16, is a contestant on the talent show X-Factor currently airing in Australia. Her cover of Daughter's Youth got the attention of actor Kutcher.
Carter is now in the final nine of the X-Factor contestants with five weeks worth of performances under her belt, yet the track that got Kutcher's attention was her audition from July.
The star of Two and A Half Men posted the clip to his 16.4 million twitter followers on Sunday with the caption: "Sydnee Carter I'm a fan of #Australia but you just took it up a notch."

Sydnee reacted to the news the way any 16-year-old would react if they got a plug from Kutcher.
"I woke up this morning and I checked my phone and I was like holy moly," Karter told the West Australian. She told the website she screamed to her mum: "Ashton Kutcher shared my audition, oh my God!"

Post by Ashton Kutcher.
Sydnee has been struggling to stay in the talent competition, as she failed to have a performance as stunning as her audition.
This tip of the hat by Kutcher could be her saving grace.
