Apple's recent iOS 8 announcements were huge, with things like Swift, Healthkit, HomeKit, and Extensions, but what's changed that affects web developers?

In the latest video of our Ask a Dev series, web architect David Dulak answers your questions about iOS 8 and web development.

iOS can now make use of the Javascript FTL Just In Time compiler, which means huge performance gains and running webGL on Safari across the board. It also means we can say goodbye to iScroll because things like pull-to-refresh, parallax animations, and infinite scrolling will be much simpler.

"Have an eCommerce site? You'll love the new iOS Safari feature that autofills credit card information with your camera," says Dulak.
