Audi Designed This Futuristic Car From 'Ender's Game'

There's a scene at the beginning of the trailer for Ender's Game that depicts a futuristic, sci-fi car. It was tough to get a good look, but now we finally have some more details to share: Audi designed the virtual car, which it's calling Fleet Shuttle Quattro, exclusively for the movie. The car's sleek and modern design fits the movie's aesthetics perfectly.

The car features an aerodynamic, nearly flat top and wing-like doors that flap open, Lamborghini-style. Take a look in the video above.

Frank Rimili, the chief designer for the concept car, told Fox News that "designing the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro was similar to customizing a tailor-made suit." The company added that the car "combines futuristic design with groundbreaking technology."

The German car company may have partially based its designs on the Audi RSQ concept from 2004, which was featured in the movie I, Robot.

While the car is purely a virtual -- we won't be driving it to work anytime soon -- you can watch it on the big screen on Nov. 1, when Ender's Game hits theaters. You can check out the car in the trailer right around the 0:22 mark.
