The video -- filmed in South Dakota, Wyoming and Utah -- proved to be more difficult for Halverson than anticipated when unexpected weather patterns rolled in. However, the climate changes ended up adding something special to the time-lapse, as the lightning show complemented the dazzling stars.
Halverson also released an extended version available on Vimeo, featuring more locations and prolonged shots.
