This is a genius way to beat the summer heat, if you're nowhere near the beach or a water park.

An Australian farmer, Nathan Tappenden, has created a very fun looking water slide on a dam located on his property in southern Queensland. Facebook user Barry Scott captured all the tricks revelers get up to on the slide.

Tappenden says he came up with the idea a few years ago at a party, telling the ABC it was much easier than a long drive to the beach. The slide consists of a long piece of tarpaulin with synthetic grass from an old tennis court as the underlay and a lay-flat hose filled with water to help keep the slide down.
