While it's early days for Malcolm Turnbull's prime ministership, mother nature has given him a very enthusiastic thumbs up.
Malcolm Turnbull deposed Tony Abbott late Monday night to become leader of Australia and the Liberal Party -- and on Tuesday morning, he was welcomed to his new job by a rainbow over parliament house in Canberra.
The rainbow was first sighted during an early morning segment of Channel 9's The Today Show.

Cohost Lisa Wilkinson questioned whether Turnbull had a hand in conjuring the multi-coloured welcome mat.
Can't help wondering if our new PM organized this rainbow over Parliament House this morning. #auspol pic.twitter.com/wjX45wVRL4— Lisa Wilkinson (@Lisa_Wilkinson) September 14, 2015
Turnbull is on the record as being in favour of decisive action on global warming, as well as marriage equality, so perhaps the Canberra weather is as excited about the prospect of change as many Australians.
