Australia has dominated in sport, produced superstars like Kylie Minogue and Hugh Jackman and even had a hand in the invention of the pacemaker -- but it's also the world's best in some more unusual categories.
The annual publication by Guinness World Records has quite a few Aussie entries within its pages, but 2015 held some records that could definitely be considered out of the box.
Some of the stunts are downright jaw-dropping, with feats of athleticism that make you suddenly regret that extra serving of Australia Day pavlova. Other record breakers just make you wonder how much free time some people have on their hands, or how desperate they are for the title of "World Record Holder.
