SYDNEY -- Australian cricket just got extreme.
Fiery Aussie fast-bowler Mitchell Johnson smashed a ball into the commentator's box while batting at the opening match of the one-day international tri-series against Zimbabwe. The cricketer belted a massive six -- cricket code for the runs scored when a batsman hits the ball out of the boundary -- straight into a glass window at Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe.
Johnson sure knows how to smash it out of the park.

Commentators Neil Manthorp and Pommie Mbangwa remained calm and collected as they dealt with the unexpected blow.
"Ahhh it's hit the commentary box and there is glass all over the place," Manthorp can be heard saying as Mbangwa wipes glass shards off his chest.
Johnson tweeted an apology to the commentators after the incident.
Didn't mean to give you guys a scare up there in the Com box @SuperSportTV Need Chris Gayles arms to get it higher!!— Mitchell Johnson (@MitchJohnson398) August 25, 2014
While Manthorp finished up his crunchy lunch.
Well, that was an interesting last 10 overs. Braaied chicken and glass shards for lunch... Cheers Mitch J. :)— Neil Manthorp (@NeilManthorp) August 25, 2014
While the view remained obstructed for the rest of the match.
