If the Grinch was at this birthday party, even his tiny heart would have grown three sizes.

Ashlee Buratti was faced with a difficult decision when no one showed up to her son's sixth birthday in Florida earlier this month. Glenn, who is autistic, invited all 16 of his classmates, according to local TV station WKMG. But none of them came.

"I know this might be something silly to rant about, but my heart is breaking for my son," Ashlee vented in a Facebook group called Osceola Rants, Raves and Reviews List, which has more than 10,000 members. "He keeps asking 'when will my friends get here?'”

The post began to pick up traction, and before long, cars started showing up to celebrate Glenn's birthday -- and they came bearing gifts.

The Facebook post also caught the eye of the Osceola County Sheriff's Department and Osceola County Fire Department, which followed suit; they arrived at the birthday party with police dogs and a fire truck. A police helicopter flew over the house, which -- unless your last name is Trump -- means that Glenn's birthday was a lot cooler than yours.

"It just warmed my heart," Ashlee told WKMG, adding that there was one small problem: She doesn't know how she'll top it next year.
