Forget waiting in long lines for an autographed copy of your favorite book, just head down to the nearest airport and check their shelves.

Comedian Aziz Ansari has apparently taken to signing copies of his book, Modern Romance: An Investigation, while he's bored at airports.

The Parks and Rec actor and comedian tweeted a picture of a signed copy of his book next to an bookstore shelf at John F. Kennedy airport in New York.

Perhaps an even better, sneakier idea would be to sign copies of books that aren't yours, Aziz.

Fellow author Neil Gaiman commented on Ansari's guerrilla signing, calling it authoring done properly.

Good work, bored authors.

UPDATE: July 14, 11:50 a.m. ET: A fan has apparently found and purchased the copy of the book at JFK airport in New York. She posted a picture of herself holding it on Ansari's Facebook page.
