Add this to the multitude of disappointments about 2015: We still have to use our primitive, meaty hands to play video games.

Marty McFly may be better at 1985's barely remembered Wild Gunman than some punk kids at a 2015 diner, but you can certainly try to beat his score. Nintendo is apparently planning to release the title to the Wii U's virtual console in honor of Wednesday's Back to the Future milestone. Oct. 21, 1985 is the day McFly travels to from 1985.

Here's the classic moment again, in case a time paradox has wiped your brain. (Bonus: One of these sassy children is Elijah freaking Wood.)

Wild Gunman was released on the original Nintendo Entertainment System in 1985. It used the NES's iconic Zapper light gun (which you probably used while playing Duck Hunt) to shoot targets in a Wild West-themed game. Since then, it hasn't been re-released, probably because shooting technology in games has improved exponentially.

Only Nintendo of Europe has confirmed the release, but we've reached out to Nintendo of America for confirmation.
