Happily ever after ends when reality sets in.

Disney mashups typically depict your favorite characters and princesses in a new, fun light. Grumpy Cat joined Frozen, movie posters underwent a modern makeover and Disney princesses invaded Star Wars -- but this remake isn't quite like the others.

Artist José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros' recent installation, titled "Profanity Pop," depicts beloved Disney characters in situations that are most definitely not G-rated.

The collection sends a gentle nod to historical artworks and themes, while depicting the characters in vulnerable situations, like Snow White taking a selfie in her underwear or Donald Duck smoking weed. Viewing the pieces might corrupt your idyllic childhood memories, if life hasn't done so already.

"Profanity Pop" will be on display until August 31 at the La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, California.
