Over the years, we've seen everything from Angry Birds-inspired plush dolls to fruit snacks. Now, parent company Rovio is rolling out its first interactive cookbook for the iPad -- loaded not only with egg recipes but social media integration.

Rovio launched The Bad Piggies Best Egg Recipes cookbook [iTunes link] on Thursday at the Frankfurt Book Fair. It touts 41 ways to cook up eggs, from deviled eggs and omelets to aioli sauce and egg butter.

Alongside step-by-step instructions are pictures of Angry Birds characters, wearing festive costumes and holding kitchen utensils.

The iPad app -- which is $0.99 today and $4.99 thereafter -- includes a real egg-timer built into an app, as well as a way to bookmark recipes and switch between metric and imperial units.

In addition, the cookbook boasts a built-in album to share photos of your creations on sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

The cookbook comes just one week after Rovio unveiled its latest game in the Angry Birds franchise called Bad Piggies. The object of the game is to build a piggie-propelling contraption to move a green pig to the finish line and collect goals along the way.

Do you think cookbooks and toys from the Angry Birds franchise are overdone or are you eager to see more?
