Parenting tip: don't get mad. Get the scissors.

Atlanta barber Russell Fredrick, also known as Rusty Fred, is advertising that he will give an old-man haircut to misbehaving kids who come into his shop. "So u wana [sic] act grown...well now u [sic] look grown too," he wrote on Instagram.

He demonstrated the so-called "Benjamin Button Special" on his own precious but mischievous son and posted the photos on Instagram.

According to The Washington Post, Fredrick is the owner is A-1 Kutz, and is offering the hilariously cruel cut completely free of charge to any parents who are at their wits end with their offspring.

Of course, Fredrick also hopes people use this disciplinary technique of public shaming as a last resort. He told The Washington Post, “I hope that most people won’t have to do this unless it’s an extreme circumstances...But when the conventional ways don’t work these days, you have to get creative.”

He eventually fixed his son's hair and posted the result on Instagram as well. A kid can only take so much time as a mini senior citizen before they start thinking of applying for an AARP membership, anyway.
