Sony Pictures and Mattel announced plans today to bring Barbie to life in her first-ever live-action movie.
The blonde bombshell has already compiled an impressive résumé over her many years on the toy shelf. With careers ranging from photographer to United States President, a release for the film confirms that Barbie's Renaissance woman characteristics will be showcased in the comedy, "utilizing her personal and professional skills to inspire change in the lives of everyone around her."
