The version that's up there now has content for the California bar, but the fact that it's called the "California Edition" seems to imply that other versions will come.
The app was put together by "top iPhone developers" (the iTunes description doesn't say who exactly) and Harvard law lawyers, and it includes 1,371 real MBE practice questions, practice essays, audio lectures, more than 1,000 flash cards, and e-mail support with Harvard lawyers (they're really hitting the "Harvard" thing home here). It looks like a complete package — something you'd expect from a desktop app, not an iPhone app. And as steep as $1,000 sounds, the BarMax website claims that it's one-fourth the cost of a prep course covering the same material.
