Na-na na-na na-na na-nostalgia.

The delightfully campy Batman TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward debuted 50 years ago, on Jan. 12, 1966. It ran for only three seasons between 1966 and 1968, but delivered a whopping 120 episodes during that run. (Episodes ran twice a week for much of that time.)

To celebrate this milestone, we dug up a selection of behind-the-scenes and promotional images from Batman, the feature-length movie it spawned and related press appearances. We've also tried to preserve the original Associated Press photo captions wherever they make sense.
