LOS ANGELES -- Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder dealt a blow to the baddest new supervillain in town -- The Leaker -- on Friday afternoon by delivering a full-resolution version of the teaser trailer leaked the night before.
Or did he play right into The Leaker's hands?
In either case, we've profiled this behavior pattern before: The Leaker gets a hold of a bootlegged version of a trailer everyone's dying to see, posts it online, and forces the studio to go ahead of schedule.
Remember when the first Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer was all set to debut during Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? (OK that might have been Hydra, but The Leaker is a shadowy figure that takes many forms.)
Warner Bros.' first Batman v Superman teaser was supposed to debut in IMAX theaters, but The Leaker absconded to somewhere in Brazil to capture a shaky, grainy version of the trailer with her phone. What? Who says The Leaker can't be a woman?
Snyder responded Friday afternoon with the real deal:

Tell us something, Leaker. Do you bleed? If they ever find you, you will.
