It seems the latest villain to terrorize Gotham City is a Stormtrooper.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder tweeted an image Saturday of a Stormtrooper being arrested by the Gotham City Police Department with the caption "Case closed."

Snyder was most likely poking fun at a recent, false rumor that the Batmobile had been stolen from the set of the new Batman film, suggesting it was the work of a soldier from Star Wars' Galactic Empire.
Snyder and Star Wars director J.J. Abrams have been known to reference each other's films in their tweets.
