Among the eight new shows CBS touted Wednesday at the network's annual upfront presentation to advertisers is Battle Creek, a police drama from the minds of Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and House creator David Shore.

Battle Creek, debuting this fall, will star Transformers' Josh Duhamel and Law & Order: SVU's Dean Winters as officers with starkly different views and tactics on solving crimes.

Winters plays hard-around-the-edges detective Russ Agnew, who is unwillingly partnered with transplant special agent Milton Chamberlain (Duhamel), when an FBI field office opens in Agnew's hometown of Battle Creek. Low on funds, the town's crime-fighting offices get an overdue infusion of fancy equipment, along with the addition of agent Chamberlain.

The reel CBS showed Wednesday highlighted Agnew and Chamberlain's rocky relationship, which looks as though it'll provide a mixture of dramatic and humorous moments.

CBS has not made the trailer available to the general public.
