B.B. King is gone, but the thrill will never die.

The Grammys paid tribute to the late blues legend, who passed away last May at age 89, with a rousing performance by Bonnie Raitt, Gary Clark Jr. and Chris Stapleton. Raitt introduced the performance, reminiscing about King's "dignity, his eloquence and the thrill that is never really gone."

Stapleton opened the tribute with a beautifully simmering intro to "The Thrill Is Gone." Gary Clark Jr. later joined in, tackling the next verse with his stunning bluesy vocals. Then Raitt strolled onstage, cranking out a smooth guitar solo with every step. Together, the rock trio churned out a cool, soulful and powerful tribute that highlighted King's legendary music.
