BBQ 'Supercharger' Says it Starts Grill in Under 10 Minutes

With the weather getting warmer, many folks are firing up the grill for meaty barbecued goodness.

But according to one company, there's a downside to BBQs -- long wait times. A quick scan of the interwebs shows that those who prefer charcoal generally have to wait anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes for the grill to reach appropriate cooking temperature, after it's lit.

A "fire-starting tool" called BBQ Dragon, on the other hand, claims to reduce the start time of charcoal grills to less than 10 minutes, according to its Kickstarter page. The device, which works by "blowing large amounts of low-velocity, cool air" at fires, is also battery-powered, hands-free and micro-USB rechargeable. Check out the video, above, to see it in action.

The BBQ Dragon aims to raise $100,000 through its Kickstarter campaign, which has not yet launched at the time of this writing.
