Unfortunately, shortly after the leak appeared, Sky News was reportedly told to cut the story and now even the Google Cache of the original has gone missing. Conspiracy theorists (and Beatles fans) are out there having a field day with this one.
Only the tweets from those who read the actual article remain as evidence that the story was even printed at all. Meanwhile, EMI's global catalog president Ernesto Schmitt is on record claiming the Fab Four's catalogue will not be available on iTunes tomorrow, although the company is in talks with Apple to make it happen eventually.
Still, it wouldn't be the first time a "totally no" ended up being an "actually yes," and the mysteriously disappearing Sky News article seems to add a lot of fuel to that rumoured fire.
