PopCap Games has released a free web version of its popular game Bejeweled for the iPhone.
Bejeweled is among the company's most recognizable games, and is available for free via the Safari browser. The web-based game is not a download, but offers all of the functionality you've grown accustomed to when playing on the computer. So you know this isn't a watered down version of Bejeweled you often see on mobile phones either.
So far, the offerings don't move much past the game itself; you can't yet see high scores or have a multiplayer game, but this could be added in the future. Bejeweled has been optimized for use while holding your iPhone in the vertical position, though it will still work in the horizontal position as well--you just won't be able to see the entire screen for your ongoing game.
