Control your home using your iPhone and the Belkin WeMo system. Turn lights on or off from your smartphone and set up motion sensors, so the lights go on when you enter the room. You can also set WeMo to alert you to all sorts of action in your home — handy especially when you're away.
The WeMo Switch + Motion system includes an outlet with Wi-Fi, a motion sensor (also equipped with Wi-Fi) and the free WeMo iOS app.
Using the app, you can configure the Belkin WeMo through a quick set-up process.
Belkin provides some other suggestions for WeMo using IFTT (If This Then That), an online service that lets you to create tasks based on specified triggers. For example, if your dog jumps on the couch, then the motion sensor will send you a text message. Or program lights to turn off 10 minutes after everyone's left the room.
